Winter Mode – Collaborating with others

As the cold weather sets in and the street appearances of the unhoused homeless become less, we turn our focus to assisting shelters and warming facilities. And we are not above traveling beyond our normal service areas when we can afford to do so.
There are places in Northern NH, and counties in Maine such as Franklin and Somerset where we’ve helped. These areas are often in great need of support and, when we can, we bring things to them.
When we have an abundance of In-kind donations, if we don’t need them in our regular service area, we load them up and head up 93 to the White Mountains or go up 95 over in Maine and we get them out to groups that assist the unhoused.
