When unhoused homeless get moved from one spot to another, they often go to another camp. This can cause problems (unrest, theft, violent behavior, etc). We might go to a place where we know people are camped out only to find that the population has quadrupled overnight and the peace and serenity has been disrupted.
And guess what? There aren’t enough resources to go around. Then, we have to scurry to get more. But that isn’t always easy to do.
It’s a challenge trying to meet the demands with so many groups vying for the same dollars and donations. Collaborations? It would be great if there were more of them. We’re always seeking them.
