Statue of Air Force veteran

First of all, we were saddened to hear of the death of one of our long-time homeless friends, Bobby H. He was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne and had a rough go of it living unsheltered on the streets of Manchester, NH. R.I.P. Bobby.

As for the week, as usual we delivered a lot of items. We went to parks, camps, and resource centers. Handed out blankets, gloves, hats, food, hygiene items, and water.

We noticed an uptick in the unsheltered population. You wouldn’t think that there would be so many unsheltered people in a city the size of Manchester. But there are.

Affordable housing is a major cause of homelessness here as it is nationwide. Addiction is also playing a large role in it.
